In everything we do, we're committed to artistic integrity, transparency, and entrepreneurship.<br /> Sony Music Entertainment is a member of the Sony family of global companies.<br /> What you'll do:<br /> A&R - Scouting<br /> • Attending local shows and industry showcases to evaluate potential signings.<br /> • Willingness to travel to pursue signings anywhere required - often last minute.<br /> • Analyze streaming data on applications such as but not limited to Music Connect and Chart Metric.<br /> • Use spread sheets to be able to compile and present streaming, playlisting and, social media data of potential signings.<br /> • Critically analyze given data as well as genre specific culture to evaluate potential of future signings.<br /> • Meetings and calls with managers, artists and producers to discuss their projects and potential partnerships with RCA.<br /> • Studio time with artists and producers to evaluate their talent and potential. Also to develop and maintain relationships for the future.<br /> Administrative Support<br /> • Provide administrative support to A&R executive including calendar maintenance, expenses, travel and phones if necessary.<br /> A&R - Operations<br /> • Collaborate with A&R staff, artist management and A&R Administration in handling the coordination of all aspects of the recording process for assigned projects.<br /> • Develop strong professional working relationships with artists, producers and their management teams.<br /> • Work closely with A&R Administration to monitor all A&R budgets and related matters of spending under contractual agreements.<br /> What we give you:<br /> • You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to fuel the creative journey<br /> • A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork<br /> • Our Hybrid with Flexibility approach combines the flexibility of remote working with the benefits of in-person collaboration whenever we need to come together to do our best work.
