Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Salary: $80,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $85,000 | Year 3 - $90,000
Work Location: Eligible for ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program (up to 3 days remote per week)

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods across our supply chain network. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily logistics plans, including carrier assignments, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.

  • Manage and minimize transportation costs while ensuring on-time delivery performance.

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and recommend system enhancements.

  • Maximize asset utilization, including identifying backhaul and round-trip delivery opportunities.

  • Maintain data accuracy in the Transportation Management System (TMS).

  • Perform regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, suppliers, and divisional contacts to resolve delivery issues.

  • Uphold ALDI’s standards for confidentiality, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or related field required.

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in logistics or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of TMS tools, order management systems, and electronic tracking methods (EDI, Auto Fax).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly sit, stand, move, and use a computer and office equipment.

  • Occasionally lift/move items up to 25 lbs.

  • Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel required.

Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week on average
