Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team within the Global Markets division, focusing on FX and Rates Structured Products and Structured Notes Trading. This role is based in New York, NY (One Bryant Park - Bank of America Tower) and offers an opportunity to work alongside senior coverage officers, traders, and risk managers to deliver customized financial solutions to our global client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and execute FX and Rates derivatives trades, including forwards, swaps, and options.

  • Provide bespoke risk management solutions and structured product ideas to corporate clients, particularly in Latin America.

  • Conduct capital structure analysis, market updates, and client pitch preparation.

  • Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit, Risk, and Trading to deliver integrated client service.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of trade modeling, execution, booking, and processing.

  • Communicate complex topics with senior stakeholders in business, risk, and management, including CVA, RWA, and regulatory considerations.

  • Perform Relative Value Analysis and hedge market risks using interest rate swaps and credit default swaps.

  • Support the issuance and trading of structured notes, including pricing, valuation analysis, and trade idea generation.

  • Utilize data analytics for structuring and trading strategies, including buybacks, switches, and extensions.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks (SEC, FINRA, etc.) and ensure adherence to internal risk controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in FX and Rates structured products, derivatives trading, or a related finance role.

  • Proven expertise in:

    • Pricing and executing FX and Rates derivatives.

    • Delivering tailored financial solutions to clients based on geopolitical and macroeconomic insights.

    • Conducting fundamental valuation and relative value analysis using tools like Bloomberg.

    • Navigating complex risk factors: credit, legal, market, reputational, and regulatory.

    • Utilizing data analytics for structuring issuances and managing secondary trading.

    • Engaging with global clients and senior stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.

  • Travel: Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $275,000 (Offers based on experience, education, and skill set)

  • Discretionary Incentive Eligible: Annual performance-based bonus
