1. Technology Manager – Transport Products (Networking Solutions)

Location: United States | Shift: 1st Shift | Hours per Week: 40

Overview:

As a Technology Manager within our Internal Networks – Transport Products team, you’ll lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of complex networking solutions for Bank of America’s backbone and optical transport infrastructure. You’ll manage a high-performing team, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with security and risk standards — all while advancing modern Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teams, oversee workforce planning, hiring, and performance development.

  • Deliver network solutions aligned with business goals, ensuring stability, performance, and security.

  • Develop architecture for IP and optical transport networks (DWDM, 400G/800G-ZR/ZR+), including MPLS, BGP, Segment Routing, L2VPN/L3VPN.

  • Author whitepapers, product guides, and standards-based documentation.

  • Champion risk management, enterprise compliance, and application resiliency.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategy and execution.

  • Promote Agile delivery, DevOps, and continuous improvement practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in network architecture or solutions, with leadership experience.

  • Expertise in routing protocols (ISIS, BGP), multicast, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN.

  • Strong network security knowledge (TLS, IPSec, MACSec), and QoS strategies.

  • Familiar with Agile tools (Kanban, JIRA) and methods.

  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent experience.

  • Education: BA/BS in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Experience in large-scale service provider environments.

  • Strong program and stakeholder management.
