Job Description

Position 1: Regional Credit Engagement Manager – Costco (Midwest Region)

Location: Remote (with 85% travel across the Midwest region)
Reports to: Citi Director of Partner Engagement

About the Role

As a Regional Credit Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with Costco’s Regional Leadership and warehouse teams. Your mission is to enhance credit awareness, drive credit card applications, and improve credit penetration in your assigned region through training, strategic planning, and in-market execution. This role is highly collaborative and requires excellent communication, data analysis, and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Citi contact for Costco’s Regional Leadership and warehouse employees.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive credit applications and ensure compliance.

  • Leverage data to assess performance and identify opportunities for engagement and training.

  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions on credit value and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with Costco’s Regional Marketing Managers and Citi leadership to enhance regional performance.

  • Support grand openings and credit tabling events through onsite training and optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with credit card collateral, applications, and procedures.

  • Manage escalations from warehouse teams and cardmembers efficiently and professionally.

  • Identify and recommend process improvements based on feedback and market intelligence.

  • Share best practices, manage reporting tools, and support overall team success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in credit or sales-related industries.

  • Prior experience in big-box retail management is a plus.

  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively (~85% travel, including weekends).

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 annually

  • Design user-centered solutions from concept through interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.

  • Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are applied across all devices and platforms.
