Job Title: Key Account Manager – Costco & Retail Partners

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the SVP of Sales to drive strategic growth for key U.S. retail accounts, with a focus on Costco.

  • Act as the primary liaison for Costco buyers—managing line reviews, negotiations, and promotional planning.

  • Support additional retailer accounts as assigned.

  • Develop and analyze P&L models to guide business decisions and improve profitability.

  • Forecast sales on a weekly and monthly basis; build annual operating plans and communicate adjustments as needed.

  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing on the development and execution of customer sales initiatives and promotions.

  • Monitor top-performing products and provide insights both internally and to retail partners.

  • Utilize syndicated data (e.g., IRI) and consumer trends to evaluate promotion effectiveness and inform strategic planning.

  • Conduct competitive audits on product assortment, pricing, placement, and promotional activity.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, Retail Buying, or Category Management.

  • Must have experience working for or calling on Costco or a similar CPG retailer.

  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with IRI or other syndicated data tools is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—capable of managing cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Must be willing to travel (~20%) to Seattle, WA, and Aurora, IL.
