Job Description: Data Entry Operator – Production Support

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to support our production operations by accurately handling all data entry tasks related to raw materials, production, and yield reporting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in data management within a food processing or manufacturing environment and possess strong coordination and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data entry of production data based on daily orders.

  • Accurately enter raw material intake, production quantities, and production yield into SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Verify and reconcile data for consistency and completeness, ensuring production yield accuracy and tracking any discrepancies.

  • Prepare, sort, and organize documents before data entry to ensure efficient processing.

  • Coordinate with the Production Planner to confirm raw material (RM) receipts and verify inventory during receiving.

  • Identify and report deviations or anomalies in process data, quantity yields, and production figures to the Production Supervisor.

  • Assist in troubleshooting data inconsistencies and ensure prompt resolution of discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all production-related data and documentation.

  • Support the team by performing ad-hoc tasks and other assignments as directed by the Production Supervisor.

  • Ensure data confidentiality and uphold data integrity standards across all systems and documentation.

Working Conditions

  • Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours when required.

  • Comfortable working in cold environments (as low as 15°C) in production areas as needed.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience in data entry within food processing, manufacturing, or similar environments is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally, and general office software.

    • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems for production data entry and inventory tracking.

  • Language: Basic proficiency in English (written and oral) is preferred; ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to identify and escalate problems in data promptly.
