Job Overview:

Disney Advertising is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Specialist to join our dynamic Sales Pricing & Planning team. This role plays a pivotal part in driving revenue growth by supporting, mentoring, and educating our sales planning team, while managing critical aspects of the sales workflow process. You will serve as a key liaison across internal teams and ensure the smooth execution of advertising plans from proposal to insertion order (IO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the plan-to-IO workflow, including approvals and QA across all plans and IOs in Operative.One.

  • Lead onboarding, training, and development for new and existing Sales Planners, including creating and updating training materials, managing schedules, and handling system access requests.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Planning team by resolving system issues, troubleshooting errors, and addressing workflow discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Account Management, Finance, Client Connect, Compliance, and Ad Product & Sales Enablement (APSE) to streamline operations and drive efficient sales planning processes.

  • Maintain documentation and support materials to ensure they reflect current workflows, strategies, and system updates.

  • Represent the Planning team in meetings and serve as a professional and knowledgeable point of contact for all planning-related support.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital and/or linear advertising within a national sales organization.

  • Hands-on experience with Operative.One, Salesforce, and ad servers preferred.

  • Prior experience in training, onboarding, or process development is a plus.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and engagingly.

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

  • A positive, proactive attitude with a team-focused mindset and a willingness to solve problems.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $89,700 – $125,900 annually, depending on location, experience, and internal equity.

  • Eligibility for bonus and/or long-term incentive units.
