About the Role

Join Disney’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) team, the powerhouse behind Hulu and Disney+, delivering best-in-class storytelling to millions globally. We are looking for a strategic, dynamic Manager, Content Programming (Content Promos) to lead the charge in planning, executing, and optimizing in-stream video promotions across Disney+ and Hulu. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of Content Programmers driving promotional video campaigns for Hulu and Disney+.

  • Editorial Strategy: Manage content campaign calendars and programming strategies to maximize viewer engagement and platform growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data, analytics, and insights teams to design experiments, analyze performance, and refine strategies.

  • Campaign Development: Spearhead campaign ideation, planning, and execution, leveraging video content to reach and retain audiences.

  • Prioritization & Strategy: Balance multiple priorities, guide title selection and targeting strategies across a high volume of content.

  • Documentation & Analysis: Maintain comprehensive records of team workflows, campaign performance, and strategic insights.

  • Event Coverage: Support evening/weekend live programming events when needed.

  • Global Coordination: Collaborate with global programming teams to align on content strategies and best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years in content programming, audience development, or streaming media.

  • 1+ years leading and managing a team.

  • Proven ability to grow diverse audiences through content curation.

  • Expertise in CMS platforms (web, app, or connected TV).

  • Skilled with data tools (Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Excel, Google Sheets).

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Adaptable, analytical, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

  • Passion for TV, movies, sports, and pop culture.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the streaming/SVOD industry.

  • Prior leadership in global content programming.

  • Advanced proficiency in Airtable and project management tools.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Compensation:
$103,500 – $138,800 per year (plus bonus potential and full benefits). Actual offer depends on experience, skills, and location.
