This summary provides a listing of the knowledge, skills and abilities that are critical components for the position of First Officer.


General

This position offers a minimum guarantee of 72 hours per month and reports directly to the Chief Pilot. The ideal candidate will be @type-rated on multi-engine aircraft, with preference given to those rated on the B-767/757 or B-777. A valid first-class medical certificate is required. The successful candidate must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Strong communication skills are essential, and the individual must embody the company’s values and culture while collaborating with team members and customers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.



Duties and Responsibilities

The First Officer (FO) is a key member of the flight crew, sharing responsibility with the Captain for the safety of the passengers, cargo, and the overall flight. The FO also provides guidance and coordinates the activities of all personnel involved in every phase of the aircraft operation.

  • Operationally responsible to the Captain on all flights.

  • Maintain a current first-class medical certificate and notifies the Director of Operations, Chief Pilot or designee, if a medical (physical or mental) condition impairs his / her ability to perform the flight.

  • Perform all flight duties as assigned by the Captain.

  • Assume the authority to act on behalf of the Captain when the Captain is incapacitated.

  • Possess knowledge of the Captain’s duties and responsibilities and accept delegation from the Captain.


Minimum Qualifications


· ATP License

· FAA first class medical (or able to obtain one before training)

· Valid drivers license

· Impeccable safety and training record


Preferred Qualifications:


· Previous B-767 FAR 121 experience


· CRM experience


Most successful applicants exceed these minimums.


In addition:


· Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment

· Bids works schedule by seniority (days, swings, or midnight shifts, holidays)

· Travel will be required.

· Pass drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC)

· Must possess a valid passport

. English proficiency consistent with at least ICAO Level 4 endorsement

· Eligible to work in the United States (US Passport holder or Green Card holder).
