General Summary

As a Business Product Advisor at FedEx Logistics, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing product capabilities and drive the development and delivery of innovative supply chain solutions. Your role will combine strategic planning, product management, financial control, and stakeholder engagement to deliver impactful business outcomes aligned with FedEx’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

  • Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities.

  • Benchmark competitive offerings in the logistics and 3PL industry to inform product enhancements.

  • Translate customer insights and competitive data into product roadmaps, epics, and user stories.

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring value-driven delivery.

  • Prepare ROI analysis, development schedules, and drive implementation of new products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with IT, sales, customer service, operations, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Advocate for customer-centric product features by effectively communicating requirements.

  • Facilitate business process changes that simplify and optimize operations.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Support Record-to-Report (R2R) activities including General Ledger review, Balance Sheet and Intercompany reconciliations, Month-End Close reporting, and financial audits.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Local GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory filing requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal and external audit teams, BPOs, consultants, and local authorities.

  • Manage competing resource priorities such as technical debt, production support, and feature development.

Project Management & Change Leadership

  • Lead transformation initiatives and change management efforts across business and technology functions.

  • Deliver solutions through both agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • Provide insights for strategic decisions using end-to-end process analysis and performance data.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have CA, ICWA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.

  • Experience: 8+ years in product management or consultancy; 1–5 years in financial operations.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ERP systems; understanding of logistics systems and technical business translation.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Effective decision-making and attention to detail.

    • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
