The Opportunity: Database Admin/Developer

We are seeking a skilled Database Admin/Developer to join our dynamic Applications and Interface teams. In this role, you will design, implement, and support backend systems and data integration solutions critical to our enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, capable of balancing development tasks with client-facing support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend components including stored procedures, SQL Jobs, SSIS packages, APIs, PowerShell, and Batch scripts.

  • Troubleshoot complex data and performance issues; provide technical solutions for support tickets.

  • Participate in design, testing, debugging, and deployment of import/export functionalities.

  • Collaborate in daily standups, code reviews, and product design sessions with internal and client teams.

  • Produce clear technical documentation; ensure all code is maintainable and conforms to standards.

  • Support QA teams during testing and stay current with technical and company standards.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Strong knowledge of relational database design and ETL best practices.

  • Proficient in T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers, views).

  • Skilled in performance tuning and query optimization.

  • Comfortable troubleshooting issues with minimal documentation.

  • Experience with Jira and remote team environments is a plus.
