Job Title: Strategic Operations and Contracts Leader

Location: Washington D.C. Metro Area / Remote Eligible
Compensation Range: $120,000 – $369,000 (inclusive of salary, bonus, and equity potential depending on role level and location)

Overview:

An accomplished leader with over 15 years of experience in sales strategy, operations, and contracts management, with a proven track record of driving go-to-market (GTM) strategies, legal compliance, and financial performance for global technology organizations and federal contractors. This role blends strategic leadership, contractual oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver business growth, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and support enterprise-scale cloud and IT initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Law, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in sales strategy, GTM planning, or contract operations.

  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams across strategy, legal, or operations.

  • Demonstrated experience with federal contracting (FAR, DFARS, CAS, DCAA), including contract negotiation, risk management, and supplier systems.

  • Experience in cloud technology sales, emerging IT solutions, and content/narrative development for executive-level communications.

  • Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Go-to-Market Leadership:

  • Define and implement GTM strategies across global markets, ensuring alignment with product and customer experience goals.

  • Lead a team of Practice Architects and Program Leads to activate industry-specific plays and support near-term and long-term growth targets.

  • Manage portfolio performance, analyze market trends, and orchestrate quarterly business reviews to measure impact and adjust plans.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across product, sales, legal, and regional leadership teams to accelerate revenue growth and customer adoption.

Contracts Administration and Compliance:

  • Prepare, review, and manage a full lifecycle of contracts including NDAs, subcontracts, pricing proposals, and performance tracking.

  • Interpret and apply federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), conduct risk assessments, and recommend negotiation strategies.

  • Maintain ISO 9001:2015 and DCAA-compliant systems for supplier and contract management.

  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting on contract performance, cost projections, and legal deliverables.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of federal contracting, cost accounting standards, and pricing strategies.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems for contract and project management.

  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage complex negotiations and stakeholder engagement.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing C-level executives.

  • Ability to operate independently, uphold high ethical standards, and manage sensitive information with discretion.

Work Environment and Additional Information:

  • This role is primarily remote, with preference for candidates located in or near the Washington D.C. Metro area.

  • Travel may be required periodically; relocation or travel reimbursement is not provided for remote candidates.

  • Salary ranges reflect base pay and do not include bonuses, equity, or benefits which may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
