Night Stock Operations Leadership (Overnight)

  • Lead, train, and supervise Night Stockers to ensure efficient product stocking, rotation, and backroom organization.

  • Collaborate with the Grocery Manager to plan nightly operations, set productivity goals, and address issues.

  • Manage receiving operations, including unloading deliveries and maintaining staging areas for incoming products.

  • Ensure compliance with planograms (POGs), safety protocols, and equipment standards (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).

  • Address scheduling or attendance issues and report overnight developments to store leadership.

  • Serve as backup to the Overnight Operations Manager as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with proficiency in cloud data platforms (GCP, AWS), big data tools, and streaming solutions.

  • Strong leadership skills with 2+ years of experience supervising teams, preferably in night shift or stocking environments.

  • Ability to manage priorities independently and work under pressure in both digital and operational settings.

  • Forklift/pallet jack certification or experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.

  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and work in a fast-paced, moderately noisy environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with machine learning pipelines, data modeling, and data warehouse/data lake architecture.

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum or Lean Startup methodologies.

  • Background in customer service or retail operations, with a passion for delivering high-quality food experiences.

  • Ability to train, coach, and develop both technical teams and operational staff.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Opportunity for equity ownership (Partner-Ownership Model).
