Lead LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Assisted Living(EVENING SHIFT) Job Location: Mystic, Connecticut Lead LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Assisted Living (EVENING SHIFT) Masonicare at Mystic - Mystic, CT Evening Shift / 32hrs/wk $1500 Sign On Bonus in the first year of employment Competitive Pay Comprehensive Benefits Package after 30 days 401K with match Generous Tuition Reimbursement Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees and supervises LPN Team Assist with mentoring the Clinical team with orientation of new staff and ongoing training for the clinical team when appropriate and under the Supervision of the ALSA Director. Communicates and collaborates effectively with residents, families, colleagues and other members of the health care team to meet resident needs. Documents accurate, pertinent and comprehensive information in a timely and concise manner in the client service record. Will assist with new resident admission process as needed. Assist Nursing Team to help Conduct /Coordinate supervisory visits of Resident Care Assistants. Participates in educational programs, in services, meetings and workshops and utilizes current literature to enhance professional skills and knowledge. Under the supervision of SALSA and provides for oversight of the organization, tasks performed, and process as it relates to; a) In collaboration with physicians, and pharmacy Medication verification Process, Medication Pre Pours, Blood Sugar Checks, Smart Program Medication Packages and Medication tasks, Treatments, Re-Ordering of Medications b) Lock Box Audit and Reconciliation best practices and systems c) Clinical Appointment process and structure for residents d) IL Wellness Program; including communication, scheduling, Health and Wellness Programs/Presentations/Activities, Resident Communication Filing, scanning, uploading Documents for residents Provide Medication In-Service training for staff and coordinate training programs related to Medication. Oversees and ensures the maintenance of clinical supply recording. a) Updates PPE Calculator weekly b) Orders Medical Supplies c) Ensures access to a 6 month supply is available at all times for ALSA Team Performs other duties as assigned.
