Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee inbound leads and respond to intake forms, emails, and calls for events promptly and with accurate stadium information
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective business and actively strategize to generate new leads through cold calling, emailing and other marketing initiatives.
  • Create, track, and maintain proposals for prospective clients and deliver in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Exceed yearly event sales targets set by the Leadership Team and strive to set new goals.
  • Network with local and regional organizations to continually expand the event sales pipeline and secure new event opportunities.
  • Conduct hospitality-focused stadium tours and regular meetings to bring clients’ visions to life.
  • Uphold a high understanding of stadium procedures, features, and spaces to continuously share creative event ideas and information with clients.
  • Maintain relationships with regular vendors at the stadium including in-house caterers, décor companies, A/V providers, etc.
  • Create and manage stadium event marketing plans and track success of each initiative while working in tandem with internal teams to keep club-owned channels updated.
  • Work closely with internal departments (Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, Community Relations, Ticketing) to schedule internal events and meetings; provide support during event as needed.
  • Drive the planning process forward for all internal events by conducting regular meetings, planning sessions and follow-up.
  • Maintain relationships with regular vendors including in-house caterers, décor companies, A/V providers, etc.
  • Assist with the management of special event finances, including tracking invoices and billing back clients in a timely manner
  • Assist with executing campus events as needed with an emphasis on client satisfaction and service from initial inquiry to event close-out.
  • Other duties as assigned, including occasional matchday responsibilities.
Skills & Qualification Interested candidates should possess the following:
  • 2-4 years of event sales experience with increasing responsibility and sales goals.
  • Previous sales experience in a large venue or stadium preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional customer relationship development and management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events while managing time effectively.
  • Must be a self-starter and goal-driven with a passion for their work.
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Significant experience with creative thinking and a solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Strong professional communications and interpersonal skills when working with clients and internal groups to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and event management software (Tripleseat, Social Tables) preferred.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to travel between office and stadium locations within the St. Louis metro area.
