Open Position 1: IAM Engineer II – Identity and Access Engineering

Role Overview

As an IAM Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and evolving secure, scalable identity and access management (IAM) solutions across McDonald’s global enterprise. You will collaborate with product and technical teams to enhance Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) platforms, delivering secure, user-friendly identity experiences for employees, franchisees, and restaurant staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect secure, scalable IAM solutions using Active Directory and Entra ID.

  • Develop strategies for identity solutions aligned with business and security requirements.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define IAM product roadmaps and translate business needs into technical designs.

  • Implement best practices and security standards, and ensure compliance through documentation and monitoring.

  • Configure and manage Entra/Azure features including MFA, consent management, and identity provider integrations.

  • Utilize identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

The Supervisor, Mass Offers & Deals partners with the US Marketing team to assess and execute national promotional offers. This role is critical for building business cases, analyzing promotional impacts, and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership, ensuring promotions align with strategic discounting guidelines and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess business cases and post-analysis for all national mass offers and deals.
