About the Position

As the US Strategic Insights Manager for Creative Optimization, you will play a key role in shaping McDonald’s marketing strategies through data-driven insights. This role focuses on optimizing creative content and messaging by understanding consumer behavior and decision-making processes. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Content, and Agency teams to guide campaign development, ensuring that creative assets are aligned with strategic objectives. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, market research expertise, and strong communication skills to influence leadership and drive marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Insights Development: Utilize behavioral science and research methodologies to uncover insights that inform marketing campaigns.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Brand, Content, and Agency teams to shape campaign strategies and objectives.

  • Content Optimization: Guide the development and refinement of creative assets, ensuring alignment with consumer insights and strategic goals.

  • Tool Development: Create and enhance tools for insight generation and real-time optimization during campaign development.

  • Insight Communication: Present insights and recommendations in a compelling, data-backed manner to influence stakeholders and leadership.

  • Employee Relations Strategy (Global): Contribute to the broader employee experience by supporting initiatives around compliance, risk management, concerns management, and employee separations.

  • Metrics and Risk Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and outcomes to refine strategies and drive accountability.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral/Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Strategy, or Statistics.

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of market research experience.

    • 4+ years in designing and executing market research projects.

    • 2+ years analyzing statistical modeling results.

    • 2+ years of stakeholder or relationship management experience.
