Job Responsibilities

We are seeking Software Engineers experienced in distributed systems to help scale and innovate core backend services, including API platforms, messaging systems, personalization engines, integration layers, and billing solutions.

Position 2: Player Support Lead – Netflix Games (Remote)

Salary Range: $60,000–$270,000/year (based on experience and market alignment)

About the Role

Netflix Games is looking for a Player Support Lead to ensure top-tier support for players across our game portfolio. You will manage support operations, guide vendor teams, optimize support systems, and collaborate closely with game developers, QA, and other partners to ensure a seamless player experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily support operations: monitor KPIs, review feedback, compile reports, and drive improvements.

  • Create and update support materials (FAQs, templates, help articles) to improve self-service and automation.

  • Prepare support teams for new game launches, live events, and updates with detailed documentation and processes.

  • Collaborate with developers, producers, and QA on feature rollouts, bug tracking, and player communications.

  • Enhance support tools (e.g., Zendesk, Helpshift) with AI-based replies, smart tags, bots, and automation features.

  • Partner with Community Managers to communicate transparently with players across platforms.

  • Track agent performance, work with vendors to ensure operational excellence.

  • Continuously analyze data and feedback to optimize support strategies and KPIs.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in gaming industry support, including team leadership and vendor management.

  • Strong technical expertise with support platforms (Zendesk, Helpshift), automation tools, and analytics.

  • Experience managing support for multiple live games, preferably mobile and live-service titles.

  • Proficient with tools like Slack, JIRA, Confluence, and Google Suite.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create detailed support documentation.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement actionable improvements.
