  • Document architecture, processes, and system behaviors to ensure clarity across teams.

  • Contribute to future projects, including BOC and MCR automation, as the broadcast ecosystem evolves.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-based distributed systems.

  • Strong backend programming skills in Java, Go, or similar languages.

  • Solid foundation in software design principles, automated testing frameworks, and problem-solving in complex systems.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional, technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of 2110 networking, routing, and timing.

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

  • Experience with broadcast hardware/software (e.g., GrassValley, EVS, AWS Elemental).

  • Understanding of streaming protocols, codecs, and real-time data processing.

  • Exposure to open-source multimedia frameworks.

Why Join Us

Be at the forefront of transforming live broadcast technology at Netflix. Your work will directly impact the quality, reliability, and scalability of live events viewed by millions worldwide.
