Our ideal hire will be comfortable owning the full gamut of product marketing activities, including messaging and positioning, pricing and packaging, product launches, competitive analysis, sales tool development, and more. This role reports to the Head of Core Product Marketing and operates at the intersection of product, sales, marketing, business development and customer success.<br><br>Things that bring out the best in you as a PMM include partnering closely with Product to inform our overall strategy and roadmap for diverse sets of customers; partnering with marketing colleagues to create cohesive marketing programs that tie back to product strategy, messaging and positioning; empowering Sales and Customer Success to consistently win and engage deeper with customers despite competitive waters; and contributing to a strong, supportive company culture where each person can bring their whole self to work.<br><br><strong>What You'll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and drive the overall go-to-market plan (including launches, positioning/messaging, field enablement etc.) for our security and compliance portfolio spanning several products</li><ul><li>Define ideal customer profiles across our portfolio related to security and compliance —including identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities—and equipping GTM teams through tools like playbooks and training. </li><li>Develop compelling, differentiated messaging, with a clear understanding of the target customer personas, competition and the use cases we are able to address with our solutions </li><li>Manage and execute the cross-functional implementation of launch plan partnering with Brand, PR, Demand generation and other teams </li><li>Develop content for external marketing channels (webpages, blogs, demos, 1-pagers, e-books, thought leadership) as well as for GTM enablement (pitch decks, battlecards, outbound plays, outreach templates etc.) </li></ul><li>Drive thought leadership partnering with Product Management leaders on the future of security and AI </li><ul><li>Inform security and compliance product strategy informed by both qualitative and quantitative feedback from customers as well as market opportunities </li><li>Shape the product roadmap based on market research, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and GTM feedback </li><li>Contribute to analyst briefings, evaluations and reports to establish the Box as the leader in intelligent content management <br></li></ul></ul><strong>Who You Are<br><br></strong>We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.<br><br><ul><li>6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing (ideally with a security focus), including deep knowledge of security and compliance, and emerging AI technologies. </li><li>Storyteller with a strong point-of-view on the intersection of security and AI, and its implication for content management </li><li>Strong player-coach and collaborator who can drive cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, and can influence senior executives </li><li>Product marketing expertise across the full spectrum - including messaging and positioning, pricing and packaging, product launch management, go-to-market strategy, sales tool development, analyst relations and leveraging customer and market insights to inform product roadmaps </li><li>Deep understanding of the enterprise sales cycle, user and buyer persona needs, and what sellers need to be successful </li><li>Demonstrated ability to create impactful presentations tailored for executive audiences, with strong public speaking and storytelling skills, and clear, precise communication. </li><li>Comfortable working in fast-moving startup cultures or dynamic environments where agility is key. </li><li>Passionate about leveraging AI-first approaches to enable faster, smarter decisions <br><br></li></ul>Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture.
