Position 1: Compensation Consultant

About the Position
As a Compensation Consultant at Starbucks, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing complex compensation programs that are competitive, compliant, and aligned with Starbucks’ strategic objectives. We seek an innovative thinker—someone who challenges the status quo, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and delivers impactful results while being a collaborative and supportive partner.

Leveraging your expertise, you will serve as a strategic advisor for multiple support functions and business units. Your work will include market pricing roles, conducting large-scale job family reviews, evaluating job architecture, and making strategic pay structure recommendations. You'll also be responsible for ensuring compensation programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, while integrating pay transparency practices throughout the employee life cycle.

In this role, you will lead communication and change management initiatives in partnership with Partner Resources (PRO), facilitate annual rewards programs, and support the development and implementation of base pay and incentive programs. You'll conduct complex modeling and analysis, build analytical tools, and deliver compelling data presentations to influence decision-making. Additionally, you will support system-wide compensation initiatives and ensure effective program execution through collaboration with generalists and technical teams.

  • Serve as a strategic compensation advisor for multiple business units.

  • Conduct comprehensive job family reviews and integrate Career Framework strategies.

  • Evaluate job architecture and recommend strategic pay structure changes.

As the Director of Channel Operations for Mobile Order and Pay (MOP) & Innovative Formats, you will lead strategic initiatives that shape the future of Starbucks’ digital and retail operations. This leadership role focuses on developing organizational capabilities, setting strategic and operational goals, and driving business results through cross-functional collaboration and innovation.

You will oversee the execution of key initiatives, ensure alignment with business objectives, and measure performance outcomes.
