Position Description: Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor - Overnight Shift (Sunday thru Thursday)!Food Distribution Industry
SUMMARY
Responsible for hands-on day to day operational success of the 3rd shift.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, monitor, manage actual performance against operational budget which includes proper management of department staffing levels and hours worked
Lead operational initiatives to ensure quality goals are met
Responsible for auditing, reconciling inventory, and seeking systematical improvement
Manage the day order selection process and workflow to ensure timely dispatch of routes
Manage & ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and programs
Responsible for managing compliance and regulations concerning, OSHA, FDA, HACCP
Audit staff randomly daily to best ensure procedures are being followed.
Communicate with all departments on operation processes
Work with team supervisors to meet organization's goals
Ensure the warehouse is meeting productivity targets, surrounding areas are cleaned, and maintained daily
Ensure all errors are reconciliated prior to these affecting the next user
Manage the safety of crew members and facility cleanliness
Required Skills:Bilingual SpanishExperience working in a cold, wet, refrigerated / freezer environmentsExperience in a food / beverage industryMust be open to shifts lasting 12hrs+ daily (overnights & Sundays)5 (+) years of Distribution Center Management experience preferredEducation:HS Diploma or GED; BA/BS degree in logistics, business or industrial engineering or other related operations disciplines a plus
Preferred Experience:Minimum of five years supervisory experience preferably in a large, high volume food industry distribution center
Skills:Leadership, problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, passion to serve, desire for improvement, and excellent communication skills in both English/Spanish.Schedule:3rd Shift NIGHT, Sundays thurThursdays, and holidaysJob Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
