Job Title: Retail Sales Representative – Target Tech

Location: Target Mobile Retail Locations
Pay Range: $95,000.00 - $205,000.00 (based on position, experience, education, and certifications)

About the Position

Target Tech is seeking enthusiastic and driven Retail Sales Representatives to enhance sales and elevate customer satisfaction within our wireless ecosystem. This role focuses on the sales of electronics, mobile phones, accessories, and digital services. As a key player at Target Mobile, you’ll proactively engage with customers, deliver exceptional service, and drive sales productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales productivity and ensure customer satisfaction in Target Mobile retail locations by promoting wireless products, accessories, and services

  • Work collaboratively with retail associates through side-by-side selling techniques

  • Support and participate in in-store promotions and wireless sales events

  • Maintain a solid understanding of multiple wireless carriers' products and services

  • Build and manage strong relationships with Target Mobile store management and personnel

  • Attend required training sessions, conference calls, and stay updated on Target’s latest product and service offerings

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible availability, including weekends

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a self-starter

  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in retail or wireless services is a plus

  • Familiarity with wireless product offerings from multiple carriers

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist at Target, you will join a high-performing in-house tech team of over 5,000 professionals, striving to make Target the easiest and most joyful place to shop. In this role, you will focus on enhancing our search and browse capabilities by developing data science products and machine learning models that power Target’s digital guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable data science systems for Mobile and Web Search at Target

  • Implement algorithmic solutions and machine learning models in a production environment

  • Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to solve business problems

  • Stay on the leading edge of research in NLP, search ranking, query understanding, and recommendation systems

  • Follow best practices in model development, programming, and data handling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (STEM) or equivalent experience

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience implementing machine learning solutions at scale
