This is a key contributor role for a Leidos focus program with total contract value over $2B and annual revenue north of $100M that delivers IT solutions to our NASA customer. </i></p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and effectively managing risks and opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with program team and across Leidos functions to define program goals, establish budgets, and support EAC.</p></li><li><p>Develop annual planning and quarterly forecasting of Inventory & associated cash flow impacts, coordination of key drivers with various functional areas and updating planning models as the business evolves.</p></li><li><p>Provide management with insightful financial analysis to enable strategic decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Conduct monthly closing process including journal entries (JE’s) for proper inventory/cost cutoff.</p></li><li><p>Support the finance team with special projects geared to implement best financial practices, enhance internal controls, and optimize inventory/DOS.</p></li><li><p>Develop robust internal reporting and continuously drive reporting enhancements to increase speed, consistency and accuracy of KPI reporting.</p></li><li><p>Proposal involvement (pricing and cost volume leadership) and building internal and external relationships to grow the program and achieve strategic goals.</p></li><li><p>Support ad-hoc analysis and new business opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b>Please Note: </b></span>This is a 100% telework role.</p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelors degree with at least 8+ years of finance experience (Examples: Inventory Management, Program Finance, General Accounting, FP&A,) <b>OR </b>a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered and/or accepted in lieu of degree.</p></li><li><p>Able to perform functions such as inventory management, financial planning & forecasting, financial analysis, and general accounting.</p></li><li><p>Able to extract data from multiple sources and effectively summarize the current financial position of the program.</p></li><li><p>Have a comprehensive knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analysis of multifaceted, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.</p></li><li><p>Committed to customer service, be well organized, be able to plan and prioritize assignments, and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional.</p></li><li><p>Have the ability to work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Propose and implement project/program improvements.</p></li><li><p>Strong background in the entire Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, particularly in the development of formulas, v-lookups, and macros.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate advanced analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Positive can-do attitude, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p><b>US Citizenship is required and able to obtain at minimum Public Trust clearance.</b></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems such as Costpoint, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Power BI, and ServiceNow.</p></li><li><p>Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Please Note:</span> The program budget salary for this role could fall anywhere between $100,000 to $120,000 with a slight wiggle room (no guarantees) based on relevant experience and assessment.
