A public charging solution to address the infrastructural barriers cities face in the deployment of electric vehicle charging.<br><br>We are expanding into Los Angeles, supporting a cleaner, more connected transportation future. As part of our rollout in the city, we are commissioning artists to help us add art at specific installation sites.<br><br>This project invites artists or artist teams to submit proposals that will transform functional infrastructure into vibrant public art.<br><br><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><strong>Project Scope (Apply by November 14th)<br><br></strong>The project will begin with a single location before a planned expansion across the city. The first location is Koreatown.<br><br><strong>Surface Areas for Art<br><br></strong><ul><li>(1) Electrical Service Box </li><ul><li>Height: 72.00"</li><li>Width: 48.00"</li><li>Depth: 24.00</li></ul><li>(5) Concrete Ground Pad (Borders) </li><ul><li>Roughly 19" square</li><li>Border available for painting limited to between 3-5" as a surround<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>We're inviting artists to freestyle their designs for this project<br><br></strong>You will have full creative freedom to interpret the space in your own style and message. We're looking for work that reflects your artistic voice and complements the surrounding environment.<br><br><strong>Medium & Materials<br><br></strong>Artists are asked to propose durable weather- and graffiti-resistant coatings (e.g., exterior acrylics, spray, protective clear coat).<br><br>To apply, we will ask you to submit a short proposal describing your concept along with a sketch or visual mockup of your design.<br><br>Your proposal doesn't need to be overly formal — just help us understand your idea, the story behind it, and how you envision it coming to life on site.<br><br><strong>Eligibility<br><br></strong><ul><li>Open to individual artists or teams based in Los Angeles, California </li><li>All proposed work must be original and created by the submitting artist(s)</li><li>Artist will retain rights to the artwork but provide it's electric inc the license to display and promote the work at each location for 10 years</li><li>Artists must be able to complete the installation on-site by December 17, 2025</li><li>No age restictions<br><br></li></ul><strong>Budget<br><br></strong>Provide your costs that are fully inclusive of All Artist Fees, Time, and Materials.
